2-19-11 Thoughts about England...
Here is what our dear Katrina has to say about England thus far:
It's a really good thing I have a car because London is one big royal british mess. If you put an American with a car in London they would surely die. because it makes absolutely no sence and the roads are a jumbled mess of turns and swerves. and everyone drives on the wrong side of the road.Our hotel room is very small and the food is SOOOO expensive. so its a good thing I brought as much food as i could from NYC. They gave me a welcome home drink So i asked for tea. I got a whole tea pot and 3 cookies and sugar cubes and milk. so I put the milk in the fridge and drank all the tea and cookies. I used the milk and empty tea cup for this mornings cereal I brought with me.oh botha.well I'm off to another busy day.
ps, british people say very funny things. 8)

2-19-11 - Welcome to London Fashion Week!

2-18-11 - Landed in London!!!
As of 5:45AM (CST) Miss Katrina landed at London Heathrow in the amazing country of England. She and a fellow model, Codie, immediately went to their London agency, Viva, to begin their adventures!
For those who are asking, "But I thought she was going to Milan?" You are still right, but she created enough buzz in New York to receive an invitation to complete the entire Fashion Week circuit! (This means London, Milan, and Paris!)

The New Superstars of 2011 | Katrina Hoerning
My third pick for the newest of new faces coming out of NYFW is Katrina Hoerning (DNA). As far as I'm aware she's only walked Marc Jacobs (exclusive?) but I think her potential is high.
If i'm going to compare her to someone I would say Caroline Trentini. She seems to have that type of personality; and a beauty that will win you over.
My first two picks have been Emily Baker and Kate King.
